Generally speaking, the Small Polyped Stony corals have small polyps on a calcareouss skeleton. In many instances they are either branching, plating, or encrusting. SPS corals generally require both moderate to high light and flow.  It is important that proper calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium levels are maintained.

Perhaps one of the most popular monti's, the Superman Montipora Danae is a real collectors coral.  When we aquired our piece we knew that we had an amazing coral.  Our Superman actually glows violet with red polyps.  It is by far the nicest Superman Monti we have ever seen.  We will be farming this coral for many years to come!
